Fueled by passion, innovation, and excellence, Dr. Anand founded The Dentists at Galway in 2020 with a vision of creating a patient-centred dental clinic in the heart of St. John’s.
Committed to continuing education and professional growth, Dr. Anand has completed courses and training opportunities across North America and internationally, bringing valuable knowledge and experience to patients in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Born and raised in India, Dr. Anand graduated from dental school in 2000. Driven by a passion for dentistry and lifelong learning, he pursued his goal of practicing in Canada and, in 2016, completed the National Dental Board Exam to become a certified General Dentist.
After practicing in Clarenville and Port aux Basques, Dr. Anand and his family proudly made St. John’s their forever home.

Dr. Anand believes every patient brings unique experiences, needs, and goals, and he is dedicated to supporting the community through personalized dental care and healthy smiles.

Dr. Anand is committed to lifelong learning and has attended international conferences and hands-on residencies. He is proud to be connected to associations like the Resnik Implant Institute and the OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry. He has also completed a myriad of courses, such as the Aligner Intensive Fellowship, the Mechanotherapy in Orthodontics course at CTOR Academy, and many more. Since graduating with her dental degree in 2000, Dr. Sree Vidya Lagisetty has been dedicated to supporting the oral health and wellbeing of her patients through attentive, compassionate dental care.
Born and raised in India, Dr. Lagisetty moved to Canada in 2015 with extensive clinical experience and a strong commitment to patient care. She completed the National Dental Board Exam and became a certified General Dentist in Canada.
Before settling in St. John’s, Dr. Lagisetty practiced dentistry in Prince Edward Island and Clarenville. Then and now, she provides preventative, restorative, and cosmetic dental services for patients of all ages.
Known for her compassionate and understanding approach, Dr. Lagisetty takes the time to help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their dental visits.
Outside the office, Dr. Lagisetty enjoys continuing education through dental courses, spending time with her husband, Dr. Anand, and their two children, and caring for her garden.
Driven by her enthusiasm for serving our community, Dr. Lagisetty is committed to fostering a warm and welcoming practice environment. She is dedicated to helping patients experience relief from their TMJ symptoms with personalized treatment that involves a bite analysis and muscle function assessment. Doing everything she can to help eradicate your pain is Dr. Lagisetty’s goal!
Dr. Lagisetty has honed her skills by taking additional dental courses, including the Fundamentals of Esthetics and Function and Morphology at the OBI Foundation for Biosesthetic Dentistry. She also completed the master’s program in Fixed Prosthodontics at Fradeani Education.
Dr. Lagisetty is deeply committed to staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry through ongoing education and hands-on training.
Dr. Gurwinder Malhi obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry in Ontario and acquired his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Baba Farid University, Punjab, India.
Born and raised in India, Dr. Malhi moved to Newfoundland in 2021, where he has supported our community with patient-centric and empathetic care ever since.
Providing trusted, personalized, and compassionate dentistry is at the core of Dr. Malhi’s approach. He values the opportunity to build long-term trust with his patients and finds it especially rewarding to help dental-phobic individuals feel completely at ease while restoring their confidence. With a focus on patient education, prevention, and clear communication, his mission is to help those in his care achieve lasting oral health. He is passionate about all aspects of dentistry, especially restorative dentistry, root canal treatments, and wisdom teeth extractions.

Lori is organized, compassionate, and plays an essential role in keeping the practice running smoothly as our office manager. She has a background in Level II dental assisting and is dedicated to supporting patients, maintaining a seamless flow throughout the day, and ensuring a positive experience for everyone who walks through the door. Outside the clinic, Lori loves walking her dog, spending time with family and friends, and staying involved in her children’s sporting events.
Delmi is warm, welcoming, and dedicated to ensuring every patient feels relaxed and supported from their first visit through treatment completion. Originally from India, she has lived in St. John’s since 2021 and always makes it her mission to help you feel heard, respected, and empowered about your health. Outside the clinic, Delmi loves spending quality time with family, exploring nature and local trails, and relaxing with books or music.
Amanda is a dedicated, caring dental hygienist who joined our practice in 2024 and is passionate about empowering patients to take charge of their oral health. Originally from Toronto, she moved to Newfoundland in 2012 to attend Memorial University and quickly fell in love with the community. Outside the clinic, Amanda loves travelling the world, staying active through sports, and spending time in the water during the warmer months.
Kristen is knowledgeable, engaging, attentive, and committed to providing personalized care that bridges the gap between oral and systemic health. She attended the Canadian Academy of Dental Health and Community Sciences, earning her diploma in Dental Hygiene and also has training in Invisalign®, digital scanning, airway-focused dentistry, and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT). Outside the office, Kristen adores spending time with her family and being outdoors.
Hannah is a thoughtful and approachable hygienist who takes pride in helping patients feel at ease. She attended Memorial University, and is always focused on building connections with patients and helping them achieve strong smiles. Outside the office, Hannah is passionate about spending quality time with friends, family, and her animals.
Soothing and skilled, Michaela is passionate about helping patients feel proud of their smiles. She attended the Level II dental assisting program at Keyin College and makes it her mission to create a seamless, reassuring experience for every patient from start to finish at our office. Outside the practice, Michaela enjoys spending time outdoors – whether it’s hiking, camping, or fishing – and values time with family and friends.
Tetiana is caring, calming, and focused on ensuring every patient feels comfortable and supported throughout their visit. Originally from Ukraine, she moved to St. John’s in 2023 and values building strong connections with patients while doing everything she can to help them achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful smiles. Outside the office, Tetiana cherishes her time spent with family, exploring our community, and travelling the globe.

Born in India, she relocated to Canada to pursue new professional opportunities and join our practice. Outside the office, Anagha enjoys exploring new places, watching shows, and practicing French as she works toward her goal of becoming a licensed dentist in Canada.
Detail-oriented and caring, Sushanth is committed to developing his skills and gaining hands-on experience in dental technology. Originally from India, he worked in a dental lab and brings a strong foundation in designing and repairing restorations to repair smiles. Outside the practice, Sushanth loves watching movies and looks forward to achieving his goal of becoming a certified dental lab technician.
Genevieve is understanding, attentive, and passionate about helping patients maintain healthy smiles. Originally from Colombia, she has been part of the community since 2021 and enjoys creating positive experiences for patients, whether it’s helping children light up at the treasure chest or ensuring a smooth scheduling process. Outside the office, Genevieve finds great joy in getting outdoors for walks, staying active, and travelling as much as possible.
Mariana is personable, organized, and plays an important role in creating a tranquil and welcoming experience. Originally from Uruguay, she relocated to St. John’s in 2022 and enjoys acting as a link between patients and the clinical team, doing everything she can to ensure clear communication and help patients feel informed and at ease. Outside the practice, Mariana enjoys hiking, reading, gardening, and spending time with her daughter, Hadassa.
